Samsung Semiconductor has established a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) process based on international standards ISO 14040, 14044, and 14067, to evaluate the environmental impact across the entire life cycle of products and to calculate their carbon footprint.

 

LCA involves quantitatively analyzing and evaluating the environmental impacts occurring throughout the entire life cycle, from raw material extraction, transportation, to product manufacturing, usage and disposal.
