Samsung Semiconductor has announced our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality (Scope 1 and 2) by 2050 through 'New Environmental Strategy' in September 2022. We are striving to reduce carbon emissions by implementing various projects such as enhancing greenhous gas treatment and developing energy efficiency technology, and cooperation with government and industries. By 2050, we will contribute to reducing Scope 2 emissions from electricity usage including expanding the renewable energy in all global business sites.
