To help partners invest in facilities and technology development and ensure they can make supplier payments, Samsung offers a wide range of financial support such as the Win-Win Fund and Payment Support Fund. Samsung also rewards high-performing partners with big incentives.

Sharing Samsung’s expertise with partners It is not easy for small- and mid-sized companies that lack the resources and infrastructure to achieve innovation and enable employee growth to stay competitive in a fast-changing business environment. Samsung offers support by providing free training to partners through the Partner Collaboration Academy and Semiconductor-facilities Technology Academy (SfTA). Improving hazardous and chemical material management facilities To ensure partners manage a safe workplace, Samsung provides consulting on establishing policies for handling restricted material and improving control systems. Samsung also helps partners improve facilities from local exhaust systems and chemical storage facilities to chemical leak prevention facilities.

Fostering autonomous environmental safety capabilities Samsung’s Environmental Safety Academy offers free training for partner employees to strengthen their environmental safety capabilities. In addition, Samsung provides support for partners to grow their competitive strength in different ways by offering safety and health consulting, helping build a culture of safety, and by providing financial support and consulting for partners to implement health and safety management systems.

Samsung operates a responsible supply chain by continuously monitoring ethics and compliance risks and making improvements throughout the entire global supply chain, including second and third tier partners, in a wide range of areas from forced labor and labor rights to the environment and health and safety.

Transparent and responsible minerals management In order to minimize the negative impact on society and the environment, such as human rights violations and environmental destruction caused by mineral mining in conflict and high-risk areas, Samsung follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
